Tullahoma First United Methodist Church seeks a responsible childcare leader to serve in our nursery staff.  Regular hours will be Wednesday 4-8pm and Sunday 7:45am-12:15pm. Our hourly wage is up to $10 per hour, based on experience.

Are Sponsoring A

"New and Used Treasures Sale"

First United Methodist Women are sponsoring a "New & Used Treasures Sale" on Friday, May 2, 8:00 am.-4:00 p.m., and Saturday, May 3, 8:00 am .- 2:00 p.m., in the FAC Building at Tullahoma First United Methodist Church.

Set-up day is Thursday, May 1, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Any church member may bring new and used items at this time or of you have items you want to bring to the church before May 1, contact Elmo.

We will have tables set up for your items. Items should be clean and not broken. Several circle members will be pricing the items brought in or if you have an idea of what your item should bring, just let us know when you come.

Examples of Items to Bring

Sheets & pillowcases, blankets,
Kitchen items such as small appliances, glassware, sets of dishes, etc.,
Small furniture, lamps, knick knacks,
Paper and hard back books,
Pictures/picture frames,
Children's toys,
Shoes, purses, etc.
This is just a tentative list — you might have other items you want to bring.


The proceeds from all United Methodist Women projects are donated to local charities such as:

Contact Lifeline
Haven of Hope
Parish Ministry
Partners for Healing
Shepherd's House
Trinity Day Care
Young Life

Schedule for Children/Youth

FUMC youth ministry will meet on Wednesday nights from 6pm-8pm. This ministry is for students grades 6th-12th. Our teaching strives to provide a comprehensive look at issues that youth face along their spiritual journey. The schedule is as follows:

 4:30pm-5:30pm Youth Choir

6:00pm-6:45pm   Middle School Bible Study / High School Gym/Study Room

6:45pm-7:15pm  Youth-led worship/announcements

7:15pm-8:00pm  High School Bible Study / Middle School Gym/Study Room

Children’s Bible Adventure and Music - Esther Sims and Michelle Anderson 4:30-5:30pm downstairs

6:30-7:30 Spirit Fit Bible Adventures for children (Praise Moves, fitness, scripture and Bible study)

Extended Care open from 7:30-8:00 (available for parents involved in Bible study and choir)

Vocal Music Ministry

Instrumental Ensemble
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45 PM.   Please call Doug Clark for more information. (931-455-5434)

FUMC Youth Singers
Open to all singers in grades 6-12, this vocal ensemble offers a strong foundation in music education, in a Christ centered enviornment.   Singers will have ample opportunities to sing within the FUMC community, as well as throughout the local community.
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

Sanctuary Choir
Our adult choir is open to all who want to lift their voice in song.  We often sing at the 11:00 am service on Sunday mornings, but also prepare special music for seasonal concerts and special holy days throughout the year.
